The Town of The Blue Mountains Town Hall, located at 32 Mill Street in Thornbury, Ontario, was officially opened in May 2011. This modern civic building was constructed on a former service station site, which required extensive environmental remediation due to contamination. The cleanup process involved removing pollutants from the soil, addressing a longstanding environmental concern and preventing further contamination of the nearby Beaver River.
